I am a Computer Programming tutor with 6 years of experience and a BEng in Software Engineering. I have taught over 250 students from beginners to experienced programmers building advanced skills. My Computer Programming lessons are project-based, practical, and build real coding ability from the very first session in a structured and progressive way. Every lesson begins with a review of previous code and identified gaps to reinforce understanding before progressing to new concepts and challenges. Core programming fundamentals including variables, data types, control structures, functions, and object-oriented design are always taught through small functional real programs rather than abstract theoretical explanations. Python lessons develop through data structures, list comprehensions, file handling, API consumption, library usage, and practical automation or data analysis projects depending on the student's specific goals. Java sessions cover object-oriented programming principles, inheritance, polymorphism, data structures, algorithm implementation, and preparation for university assessments or technical interviews. Web development students build complete interactive front-end and basic back-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and introductory React or Node. SQL sessions develop database design, complex multi-table queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and data manipulation in realistic business scenarios. Personal project work is strongly encouraged throughout because motivation-driven learning builds the deepest and most durable programming skills. Code examples with clear comments and progressive challenges are provided after every session. My commitment is for every student to write clean, functional, professional-quality code with genuine independence.
