About Stephanie
Hello! I’m Steph, a Year 10 student at The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School (One of Victoria's top government selective entry high schools), and I’ve always loved finding simple, clear ways to make tricky concepts click. I genuinely believe that everyone can do well, it’s all about having the right support and learning approach and I'd love to be that person to help you! I’m someone who’s patient, organised, and easy to talk to. Whether it’s going through homework, breaking down a hard math problem, or preparing for exams, I aim to make learning feel motivating and manageable.

My tutoring style is supportive, flexible, and centered around helping you learn in the way that suits you best. I understand everyone learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to your pace and preferences while keeping things clear and structured. Typically, sessions include short explanations, guided examples, and targeted practice — but I’m always happy to adjust to what works best for you.
Lessons are usually 1–2 hours per week, but I’m always happy to adjust depending on what works best for your schedule and focus.
My teaching style: Calm, enthusiastic, patient, and focused on breaking things down step-by-step in a low-pressure environment, focused on progress.
Here’s a bit about my background as a tutor:
1+ year tutoring secondary students, with a strong focus on Mathematics — helping students lift results from the 70s to 90s through structured lessons and consistent feedback.
Tutored 5+ students across English, Math, and Science, offering both academic support and extension work to suit each student's goals. Several years of informal experience assisting classmates, siblings, and family friends, adapting explanations to different learning styles and ages.
Proven success in guiding students through classwork, test preparation, and general study strategies, building long-term confidence in their learning.
I teach Primary to Year 9 students who are looking to feel more confident or extend themselves in:
English – reading, writing, and expression + comprehension Science – physics, chemistry, biology basics + understanding, and application Math – various mathematic topics such as-- algebra, geometry, logic, problem-solving + core skills I can also help with school assessments, exam prep, SEHS, and scholarship tests.

My experience with Stephanie was so great! My daughter was struggling with maths, when I found Stephanie and we booked weekly private tutoring lessons. This tutor's patience and dedication towards my daughter has made it easier for her to learn and these lessons has greatly improved her confidence in maths.
Stephanie is an incredible tutor who never fails to explain concepts thoroughly and in a way that I can understand. She makes learning fun and is always welcoming, making me feel comfortable asking questions and deepening my understanding. During the few years I've been friends with Stephanie, I've been consistently impressed by the amount of dedication, enthusiasm, and genuine patience she has for teaching others.
