About Samin
I am a dedicated Piano and Keyboard teacher with over 15 years of professional teaching experience, working with students from diverse learning backgrounds. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Computer Applications, and I am professionally trained with Grade 8 Piano and an Advanced Certificate in Piano from Trinity College London.
My teaching is structured, patient, and focused on building strong musical foundations. I guide students step by step in music reading, technique, rhythm, scales, and chords, ensuring steady progress and confidence. I currently teach school-going students aged 8 to 16 and prepare them carefully for Trinity College London examinations.
Since 2010, my students have consistently achieved Distinctions and Merits, with nearly 90% distinction results over consecutive years. I maintain clear communication with parents, provide regular feedback, and create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and proud of their musical growth.

I believe children learn music best in a positive, comfortable, and encouraging environment. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and adapted to each child’s learning pace and ability. I focus on building strong musical basics such as correct finger positioning, rhythm, scales, chords, and reading music notation. Lessons are designed to be clear, enjoyable, and goal-oriented.
Each class usually begins with warm-up exercises to improve finger strength and coordination, followed by revision of previous lessons. New concepts are introduced step by step, and students practice songs or exam pieces with guidance and correction. I always provide clear practice instructions for home practice.
What makes my teaching special is the individual attention given to every student. I carefully identify learning difficulties and adjust my teaching methods to help children progress confidently. My classes are intended for school-going children aged 8 to 16, including beginners and students preparing for graded music examinations.
