About Maria
I'm passionate about French and learning other languages and believe that anyone can communicate if they understand the "why" behind the "how".
I began studying French when I was 14. I moved to Paris at 19, and then attended school in Rouen when I was 25 years old. I have many friends who are French.
In 2014 I traveled to Southern France to attend a birthday. I found myself seated next to Ton-Ton Jean (uncle John), a very formal old-school French professor. We not only conversed for hours, I was able to maintain my proper French throughout the weekend and the locals even complimented me! (I'm so proud of this story)
Foreign language access and fluency will float in and out. It needs to be used like a muscle and I'm here to help you work it out - together!
