About Luís
I'm just a master's student who is writing a thesis on an internship. I know what it is to be a student and I try to be as relaxed as possible, trying to create bonds with the student. I'm not in the teaching business, but I know what a good tutor is because I had an excellent example in my high school days. Because of him, I'm where I am, because the "little bug" of mathematics was instilled in me by my tutor at the time. I've always thought of giving explanations like the ones I had and I hope to be able to provide the quality of teaching in the explanation as I had when I was a student.

I try to look for the student's difficulties and explore them through exercises, didactic examples or even everyday examples. I have persistence, that is, the objective is to make the student to be clear and feel free to express their doubts or difficulties and I intend to achieve this, even if it is necessary to explain repeatedly. There is always a time to work and a time to relax and unwind. I am living near the Carolina Michaëlis School in Porto, but at the moment I don't have a car; so I can't move very far.
