About Amelia
Hi, I'm Amelia!
I am a current dental student at a top UK dental school.
I have always been dedicated to my own learning as well as helping the learning of others. I have received 8 grade 9's at GCSE and A*AA at A-level. Alongside achieving these results I have tutored other students for a year and have completed a year of work as a teaching assistant.
I have always set myself big aspirations I wish to achieve - the main one being becoming a dentist. The path to getting there so far has not been easy at all and it has taken a lot of work, effort and self-understanding. Being on the road now to graduating as a dentist and succeeding in my dream, I would love to carry on helping other students achieve theirs!
I have learnt a lot about studying and sitting exams through my GCSEs and A-levels and would enjoy sharing my own personal insight and top tips for success.

My teaching:
I love for my teaching to be tailored around the student. I understand that each student will have different preferences in teaching style and speed and I would love to spend time getting to know how the student works best. From this knowledge I can tailor my lessons to include some of these aspects; revisiting school lessons, teaching topics, providing practice questions, assisting in making revision resources and giving my own insight into what helped me succeed in my exams.
Times and lesson length:
Any weekdays after 5pm.
Flexible for weekend sessions.
Ideally 1 hour sessions is enough time to cover content, recap knowledge and set goals for future lessons. But open to discuss longer/shorter lessons to fit into busy schedules!
*Note - for English Language, I only have exam experience in the Poetry Anthology - Power and Conflict, Lord of the Flies and Romeo and Juliet.
