About Yun
I’m a designer based in San Francisco with a design degree from UC Berkeley, and I’ve spent years working at the intersection of fine art and digital practice. Alongside my professional work, I’ve taught pixel art to high school students here in SF, so I’m comfortable guiding learners at every level and adapting to how each person works best. My lessons are for anyone who wants to paint with watercolor and really understand color. We will talk about how hues relate, how to mix with intention, and how to build mood and atmosphere through your palette.
What makes my teaching different is the bridge I draw between traditional art and modern design. Coming from both an art and a design background, I show you how the instincts you build in watercolor, things like composition, contrast, and visual rhythm, carry directly into illustration, branding, and digital work. Lessons are relaxed, hands on, and shaped around your own goals and pace.
