About Alessandra
I am and artist, illustrator and designer currently working for the retail and editorial sectors with a background in fashion media as a stylist and art director at mainstream consumer magazines.
I have been teaching illustration techniques, drawing, textile design, Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign and fashion styling industry insights on a private base for 5 years to students who need to prepare their portfolio for access to the main fashion design schools and media industry jobs.
I have also been mentoring young professionals who wanted to make a transition to a different sector related to design or fine arts within their creative careers.

My teaching methodology is very practical and engaging. It starts with assessing the specific needs of students. I then normally work on real projects and incourage students to ask questions and make progress relevant to the goal initially established.
I also make sure to offer as many tips and advise as possible related to my own professional experience that might benefit students in accessing their chosen industry sector.
