About Sean
I was born and raised in New Zealand but currently reside in the UK. As a football fan, it is difficult to grow up there as there is a lack of grand football teams, hence why I followed Real Madrid for years. This sparked my interest to learn Spanish throughout secondary, where I consistently achieved top marks and eventually a 6 in IB Spanish. I enjoy teaching others because I genuinely enjoy being able to help people. So, having the chance to teach Spanish, something that I am extremely passionate about, is a top priority for me because I can help others to excel and achieve their goals.

I prefer to correspond with students prior to lessons about a particular area they are struggling with. Having established that, I prepare solutions and various exercises to improve the student's understanding, encouraging them to actively participate throughout the lesson. I achieved a 6 (of 7 points) in IB Spanish and have a keen interest and passion for Hispanic culture having travelled to many places within Spain. A lesson would be an hour long and again, is catered towards the student - mistakes are essential for the student's development, so I provide a nurturing and encouraging environment for learning.
