About Justyna
I am an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Director of Geography and Staff School Governor, currently teaching in a mixed comprehensive secondary school in South East London. I am also a tutor helping students to prepare for GCSE examinations. Similarly, I strive to improve children’s low self-esteem and help them learn and develop, achieving their potential academically as well as spiritually in life. I’ve gained significant experience in teaching all of KS3, KS4 and KS5 and in doing so I’ve acquired excellent communication skills both written and oral, as well as the ability to communicate appropriately to a range of different audiences and age groups. In addition, I’ve learnt to work effectively both individually and as a part of a team, working together with my colleagues to achieve common goals. For example, collectively working with my colleagues to plan schemes of work, the curriculum design, and individually when planning CPD training sessions, coaching staff, and planning lessons.

I have experience in preparing students for their GSCE examinations and I have taught both the Edexel and Eduqas exam boards. I also have experience in delivering highly effective lessons and am able to cater to all of the needs of any students. For example, I have experience in working with high attaining pupils and pupils with special educational needs. I have attended several training sessions on delivering the curriculum to children with SEN and I am able to break down content and help students with metacognition. I am able to deliver sessions which will cater to the needs of your child depending on the level of their knowledge, understanding and skills. My lessons are carefully thought out and planned to avoid cognitive overload and allow students to learn in the way which comes natural to them. The focus of the lesson could range from knowledge to learning exam skills, such as breaking down exam questions and key terminology used by the exam board.
