About Rachel
¡Hola!
I’d love to share with you not only my knowledge of the Spanish language, but also my experience with Spanish-speaking cultures and communities. I attended a bilingual high school where Spanish was taught, and later lived in South America for three years, travelling and discovering the life and culture of Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. Thanks to this experience, I can show you Spanish as it is really spoken in everyday situations, while also introducing you to cultural and regional differences.
I am punctual, patient and dedicated, and Spanish has been my passion since my teenage years. I want learning to be an enjoyable experience for you, which is why I create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere during my lessons. I want every student to feel comfortable and make progress at their own pace.

I base my lessons on an interactive textbook, combining vocabulary, reading, listening comprehension and grammar practice. I also adapt the topics to your interests and learning goals, so we focus primarily on practical, real-life Spanish.
Each lesson lasts 55 minutes. I have experience teaching both children and adults. I studied at a bilingual high school with Spanish as a language of instruction, and I have had contact with the Spanish language and Latin American culture for over 12 years. I welcome students who would like to start or continue learning Spanish.
