I am a teacher and interpreter because I like the contact with people, teaching and learning from others, both in the academic and personal sense. Apart from languages, music is another of my passions. Music and art introduce students to a new culture in a very motivational way.
My teaching philosophy stems from establishing and nurturing a positive relationship with the language, you must enjoy learning in order to really succeed. I teach degree level Spanish literature, and anywhere from beginner to advanced Spanish and English language classes. I incorporate games, acting, group work and also worksheet based lessons.
I base my methodology on the pupils' needs and strengths, approaching the language from different sources, free association of ideas and in connection to their previous knowledge, no matter how deep it is.
My teaching style is very conversational and realistic. I feel that language learning needs practice and a real-life communicative approach. My goal in teaching is to have my students speaking more than myself, because using language is how you learn a language.
I am a 27 years old data scientist living and working in the UK. I have lived my whole life in Spain, so Spanish is my mother tongue, and I have a C1 certificate in English and French. I promise, learning languages can be super fun and easy! (I am also currently teaching my boyfriend, who is British :) ).
Spanish is my native language and even though I am not a professional teacher, I very much helping people who want to learn it. My teaching style is based on identifying, selecting, and modifying resources to meet student's diverse needs and integrated worksheets to vary lessons and consolidate concepts and, if necessary, adapted course content and delivery style to meet their needs.
If you want speak spanish, apply me, practical classes, based on experience, totally practical and entertaining. Young person with experience as a teacher More than four years of experience doing classes.
I like my classes to be as personal as possible so I base my methodology on what the student/s need. I find it particularly useful to work with movies, music or current news so as to allow the student to acquire the language in a rather organic way.
My teaching method is based on practice, so when I am to approach a new topic, I'd give a text to then let the students guess in the text what it is we are going to study, why they think a certain tense, word... is there and being used that way and once the theory is explained, I'd proceed to let them practice with what they have learnt.
My teaching method is flexible and adjusts to the necessities of the student. I am open to offer classes for students from Primary School, High School or university who want to improve their skills in Spanish language (oral comprehension and expression, reading comprehension, and written expression) or Spanish literature.
My method is both hands on and individualized. I like to get to know how my students learn best and tailor their experience to meet their needs. If a method isn't working, I like to revisit it and restructure lessons to accommodate. This is why one on one lessons are ideal.
I started off teaching by taking a TESOL course whilst I was at Heriot-Watt University. I then was able to teach English to young children whilst on my year abroad in Barcelona. I have also spent 6 months in Grenoble in France. I then graduated in 2016 and went on to be accepted to do my PGDE at the University of Glasgow last year.
I give classes to groups or individual, I like to find the method that suits each person.
My teaching method is about joining different areas of learning. Classes are developed totally in Spanish, with additional english explanations when needed. I use different tests for reading comprehension, and exercises for improving grammar, writing expression and speaking part, while putting special enfhasis on students particular needs.
My approach adapts to my students, since not everyone is aiming for the same goals. Let me know what your goal is and we´ll work on that together.
It depends of the age of the students, the objetives and the desire to learn, also the level you want to get. I always try to make the process of learning as fun as possible, no to make you want to sleep.

I believe that students have to learn with their own methods always with the help of a guide that makes them see what is better and what is worse. I like to create resources that help them and that are creative.

I am a postgraduate of the Napier University in Edinburgh. I can teach you Spanish shaped depend on your needs or starting from the beginning with Vocabulary, Verbs, Spanish practice and writing developing a comprehensive methodology 1 to 1. We will be working on your peace.
My teaching method is very innovative and overall fun- I strongly believe that learning should be a pleasure and not a duty and it is scientifically proven that our brain retains more information if conveyed in an attractive and interesting way. I adapt to each individual student's needs and work out what suits better for you.
I like to listen to my students and offer what they want. At first, I tend to explain the theory, but then I like to do past paper questions to prepare for the exam. I think practice makes perfect so in order to achieve good grades my students practice lots of questions to spot where they are going wrong.
it depends on what do the student wants to learn. But a general class will include some grammar and vocabulary. Then practicing.
I like to adapt my lessons to the necessities and interests of my students. I basically design the programme of my classes according to what they want to learn (grammar, vocabulary, conversation, writing/reading comprehension, oral comprehension, reduction of accent, coloquial Spanish, official exams...) and according to their level (I teach from total beginners to almost natives!).
It's crucial to find out what exactly the student is struggling with and work from there - whether they find the subject boring, irrelevant, or whether they're struggling with something more fundamental that they haven't understood in class. Once we work out why it is that the student needs help, I tailor my approach to make the lessons as relevant and helpful as possible.
My teaching method is tailored, as generally people show different levels in speaking, reading, listening and grammar. Overall comprehension will always be the main goal and added to this more emphasis can be done in some of the categories depending on the individual.
