About Shwetha
I’m a UK-trained doctor with experience across medicine, surgery, paediatrics and critical care. I enjoy teaching because I know how much difference a clear, patient explanation can make when a topic initially feels difficult or overwhelming.
Alongside clinical work, I have taught medical students and junior doctors, as well as tutoring school students privately and through agencies. I’m friendly, approachable and encouraging, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions. My aim is to help each student build genuine understanding, improve their confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I have experience in both agency and private tutoring spanning across all age groups, as well as teaching medical students and junior doctors in the clinical setting. I prepare each topic in advance and tailor lessons around the student’s individual goals, including areas they find difficult or would particularly like to improve.
My teaching focuses on the key knowledge and techniques needed for exams, while also helping students develop a genuine understanding of the subject. I adapt my explanations, activities and practice questions to suit different learning styles and confidence levels. My aim is to make complex topics feel clear, manageable and memorable in a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
