About Greg
After obtaining a Federal Maturity (physics and math), I began my studies in Biology at the University of Lausanne.
After a Masters in Medical Biology, I went to Germany to do a doctorate in Biochemistry, within a large pharmaceutical group.
Since my first year at university, I have supported students in their academic journey.
I was notably:
- Tutor within the Study circle in Lausanne and Nyon (preparation for the Federal Maturity)
- Tutor at the Collège Champittet in Pully (tutoring for primary and secondary students)
- Physics assistant at EPFL for students in the Faculty of Biology and Medicine
- Mentor for undergraduate students in Biology at the University of Lausanne
- Private tutor for more than 30 pupils and students, in particular for general chemistry,
organic chemistry, physics, biochemistry and math
In addition, my passion for life sciences led me to take popular science courses, facilitating your understanding of subjects sometimes seen as difficult to understand! [NOT]

METHODOLOGY:
My methodology adapts to the student, to his needs, his difficulties, his desires…
Nevertheless, my main objective is to help the development and the reinforcement of the logical and methodological approach essential to understanding science (and solving your exam problems!)
Equal whether we spend 1 hour or 10 minutes solving a single problem, the methodologies will be learned, which will allow you to solve more complex problems than the series of exercises given in progress!
CONDUCT OF THE COURSE:
Here too, it depends on the student, his needs, his difficulties, his desires…
Nevertheless, I like to start by asking the student to explain to me, in his words, what he understood of the course / exercise / chapter by going over it with him.
Then, I go back to the course by explaining it and putting on the methodology and the learning techniques, while encouraging any questions.
Finally, application of the theory using exercises.
NB:
I usually ask 2 days in advance for the details of the program to be reviewed - in order to prepare myself and organize some additional exercises.
