About Yaser
I have a PhD in Islamic studies from the University of Edinburgh (2019). My thesis was about the philosophy of revelation in contemporary Muslim theology. I am a researcher and lecturer in bio-medical ethics. I am interested in teaching courses in philosophy of religion, Islamic philosophy, moral philosophy (ethics), Persian and Arabic literature, comparative theology, political theology, and intellectual history of modern and contemporary Islam. I have 25 years of teaching experience in Iran, the UK, and some Arab countries.
