I believe that every child learns in a different way. I like to get to know a child and tailor my teaching to their needs. I find that children are very visual in their learning, and I like to use lots of videos, physical objects and whiteboards.
My teaching method is I build up from what the student had been doing themselves is cue cards work then we’ll work with that. I will create an overview of the things we are going to go over so that we can see what to focus on, at the end I’ll go over the work and ask corresponding questions.
My teaching method is I ask the students what they’ve been doing and build up from there, so if they’ve most comfortable with cue cards I’ll help improve upon them. Each topic I will do an overview for and if they can tick each one off we don’t need to do it in that much depth and we can focus on the things they are struggling with.
My teaching method is to help students with essay writing skills including: structure, grammar, research methods, footnoting and essay planning. I am adaptable to the needs of the students and will also assist with proofreading. My techniques will revolve around individual needs, but preferably if students need help with their current work.
For each topic, I'll check with student as to what they do/don't know. I intend to encourage them to find ways to think for themselves and get used to problem-solving. Everyone can think for themselves, some just need a push.
My teaching philosophy is to provide variety to how I deliver including use of games/activities to bring learning to life. I also have an emphasis on 'learner-centred' approaches where I will set problems for learners to solve and produce artefacts based around this. For example, research a topic and present your ideas back to me.
My speciality is in pop and rock but I also teach techniques from funk, reggae and blues. I focus on teaching practical methods, skills and techniques that will help you in playing with a band (live and recording) as well as training in the skills required to be a session drummer.

I prefer teaching on a corporate level, small company's staff groups keen to learn Spanish. I try to keep my lesson's structure simple and clear: 1. Casual opening. 2. Establish a subject which most people have heard about, such as trending news (non political). 3. Short description of the chosen subject, involving special vocabulary. 4.
I like to taylor my lessons to the needs of the student and find out what works best for them. Using a lot of target language focus: heard, read and used. Equally focusing on structure and accuracy to assist progress and ensure an understanding of how the language works.
Freindly , humourous and practical beginner and intermediate guitar techniques - non technical , easy to grasp and user friendly . You can get a sense of my teaching style by watching my 'guitar club' song from 2 years ago when I was teacher in China.
My teaching method is to practice theory with exam style questions after learning the basics, I am patient and empathise when the student is often baffled by the problem. I would be calm and coherent as well as setting out bite sized revision materials, to assist with the continued development.

I like to approach my classes by discovering exactly what my student wishes to achieve. When working with very young children the emphasis during the session is very much on fun and is child-led. Older students tend to have a particular goal in mind and this is born in mind before embarking on a programme of study.
I taught in a state school for five years until last summer and have been tutoring since. Several sets of parents have commented on their children's visibly increased confidence after a few lessons with me. I am best-placed to teach 11-18, including A-level, but I have also taught some primary maths. I run my lessons as a discussion.
Better to prove a concept than only show how to use it, it builds problem solving skill rather than just following a manual instruction.
