About Mindi

Do you need help with microphone technique, performance confidence, genre styling, exam preparation, belting technique, breathing control, tone and resonance, sight singing, or diction and articulation?

Are you tired of feeling like your voice is not mapping correctly to the notes on the page? I work primarily with self-taught learners who have built their own habits but want those gaps mapped properly.

My MMus Vocal Studies degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama gives me the technical framework to deconstruct these challenges.

I prefer to keep the vocabulary plain until the concept lands in your body, then we put the proper names on it. I would rather you attempt a phrase badly in front of me than practise it perfectly on your own.

My approach focuses on steady technical growth that prioritises honesty over perfection.

10 is the number of minutes we spend on specific technical agility exercises during the start of our time together. I integrate my Guildhall training to ensure your breathing and warm-up routine is bulletproof for the stage.

We address your specific repertoire by connecting your vocal resonance to the demands of pop, classical, or musical theatre styles. This work requires patience and a willingness to explore the mechanics of your own instrument.

I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes for every student. You will find that these resources help bridge the gap between our sessions. My goal is to ensure you feel prepared for any performance environment. I look forward to seeing you grow into a confident stage performer under my guidance.
