About Ravi
Hello future students,
My name is Ravi Kishan, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with all of you as we explore the world of language, writing, and critical thinking. I have a background in political science, having completed my undergraduate studies in the field, and I am currently pursuing my master’s in international relations at UNSW. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve come to realize that the power of communication—whether through the written word or spoken dialogue—is essential in shaping how we understand the world around us.
I am deeply passionate about teaching English, creative writing, and essay writing because I believe these skills are not just academic tools, but life skills that help you express yourself, think critically, and connect with others. Writing is a way to communicate ideas clearly, creatively, and persuasively, and I want to help you develop these abilities so you can confidently express your thoughts and contribute meaningfully to discussions, both inside and outside the classroom.
As your teacher, my goal is to create a supportive environment where we can engage with different forms of writing, explore new ideas, and refine your writing skills. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, my aim is to guide you in developing your unique voice and becoming more effective communicators.
I look forward to learning alongside you and helping you grow in your writing and critical thinking skills.
