Hi, I'm Ella! I recently graduated from Cambridge University with a Double Starred First in History. I have tutored students aged 12-18 in Maths, English, and History. I have also given mock Oxbridge interviews for students. My aim is to create a supportive space for students to learn, build confidence, and get the grades they deserve!

I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Double Starred First (high first class) degree in History.
Over the years I’ve developed a number of exam techniques that have helped me to achieve top grades in my exams. To me, there are two essential elements to doing well in any essay-based subject: mastering the content, and mastering the technique. No two students are the same, and so I work with students to first identify the areas they need to work on (content, technique, or both) and together we will devise a programme that is best suited for them.
I am also able to help with university applications (either general, or Oxbridge-specific), including with personal statements, interview practice, and mock interviews.
I am happy to help students with the following:
- History: A Level or equivalent, GCSE/iGCSE, KS3
- English Literature: A Level or equivalent, GCSE/iGCSE, KS3
- English Language: GCSE/iGCSE, KS3
- Maths: GCSE/iGCSE, KS3
- University/Oxbridge applications
