I have been studying and performing in the arts for 10 years now, and I am currently studying a BA in Drama Applied Theatre and Education at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I believe drama lessons are about being a bit silly and letting go to be able to enable your fuller actor self. I can teach serous acting, focus on monologue work, script work, devising, confidence, improvisation.
I have previously been a TA in a Theatre School and so I have worked with many different students in their performance ability. I am also a tutor for CoachBright. and I successfully achieved the highest grade in my diploma- Triple D*, whilst also obtaining an 8 in my Drama GCSE.

October 19 to Date- Tesco Extra Yeovil
I am currently working as a stock control assistant/customer assistant for Tesco Extra in Yeovil. My job involves creating the best customer experience, and working through the fresh stock, doing reductions, rumbling, gap scan, and counting stock. I have helped stock and fill on fresh and ambient, and always look to give a helping hand wherever it is needed. It is important in my role as customer assistant to make sure I can help the customer however I can, taking them to products they can’t find or answering any queries, whilst being a polite, friendly face to ensure they are fulfilled with the level of service they are receiving. I work hard, and always make sure I look approachable to customers.
April 18 to September 20– Razzamataz Theatre Schools
I was a Teaching assistant primarily encouraging children between the ages of 2 and 9 to build their confidence in singing, dancing and drama on Saturday mornings. I helped to support the children, helping them gain their full potential. This role has allowed me to gain experience and confidence in leading a group of young people. I have had the opportunity to work with some SEN students and I have taken some of my personal time to work through the Razzamataz SEN resources in order to gain a deeper understanding about the students I worked with. This helped me develop these students and give positive feedback to their parents about their growth at Razzamataz.
Occasionally I have lead Minis groups under the supervision of the cover staff. This entailed working through their dance routines, building their confidence with certain dance moves, rehearsing through their singing doing appropriate vocal warm ups and finally breaking down their drama pieces working on characterisation and facial expressions.
Having been a Razzamataz student since the age of 8, I believe I understand the structure and discipline which is required at the school. Furthermore, this has helped me to achieve my full potential as a Teaching Assistant, recognising the high standards that are required.
December 18 to October 19 Front of House Coopers Mill
I was a front of house assistant at the Coopers mill, this meant that I served people their food and made sure they had an enjoyable experience at the pub. I took on customer feedback in order to improve future customer experience, always putting the customer first.
August 17 – April 19 – Yeovil Town Football Club
My duties included making tea and coffee and serving hot food to the supporters. Cleaning down the tea bar to required health and hygiene standards. Cashing up till at the end of the game.
I have done work experience at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil, where my duties were being backstage with the crew, where I help get things prepared for that evening's performance. I have also worked in front of house meeting and greeting people as they arrive.
As part of my application for Senior Prefect I volunteered at Razzamataz Yeovil, where I helped in the Minis classes before I started my own lessons at 10.15am.
I have worked in customer service roles for 3 years now, and so this has allowed me to become a very good communicator. I understand the customers views and take these on board doing whatever I can to bring them the best experience.
I took some time during Lockdown, doing radio acting, and performing scripts for a trial Radio Soap, learning the challenge of acting through voice.
My love of performing has given me the opportunity to play roles such as, Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Motormouth Maybel in Hairspray, Hanchen in Spring Awakening, The Narrator in Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat, Serena in Legally Blonde, Velma Kelly in Chicago and most recently Emilia in the play Emilia.
I was a member of Yeovil Youth Theatre.
In September 2017 I was fortunate enough to go to Edinburgh Fringe where I performed for 3 Weeks.
I have also performed twice in Her Majesty's Theatre, which was an amazing experience.
Phillippa is such a lovely person, she is always committed and determined on everything she sets her mind to , whether it be a small task or a big one. She is an amazing girl to help with any problems about anything
Phillippa is a brilliant trustworthy tutor as she’s kind and caring, has a huge heart and is always great when it comes to listening! I’ve know phillippa since I was very young so I know her well and I don’t have anything negative to say about her!
I have had the privilege to get to know Phillippa extremely well over the past couple of months as we live together in London. Phillippa, or Pip, has made me feel welcome and comfortable in a country I wasn’t familiar with. To be able to understand people so easily the way she does is rare, and extremely valuable in a tutor. Not only is she a very talented actress and singer, she is amazing at bringing over her enthusiasm for these things in a way that makes you want to join in on her excitement and passion.
Phillippa is a hard working individual and is always expanding her knowledge on the Theatre and Arts. I know her from attending Performing Arts College and Theatre school with her. Pip is a heart warming person and would be an amazing Acting tutor to those in need or learning any skill. From the basics to monologues, naturalistic, musical theatre, Phillippa knows best! I couldn’t recommend her anymore.
Phillipa is a genuinely lovely young lady, her determination for everything she sets her mind to shines through, she is compassionate and always thinks of others before herself and of ways that she can help others even if there is no benefit to herself.
