About Jo
I have recently left my secondary school post in Oxfordshire in order to focus on building my private teaching business. My main aim is to develop confidence in speaking or performing in front of an audience, and students seem to enjoy my lessons.
I have an Honours Degree in Music, and trained to teach Drama and English at secondary school level. I have worked in several schools in the UK and abroad, and alongside curricular Drama I have directed numerous school productions, ranging from Shakespeare to Musical Theatre. I can supply recommendations and testimonials on request.

I work mainly with secondary school students and adults, face-to-face, preparing each lesson according to the needs of the student. I have helped mature students prepare for one-off presentations and speeches for specific events, and helped students auditioning for Drama School.
