About Nazgol
I am a practising artist, born in 2003, with a First Class Honours BA in Fine Art (Drawing) from Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. My academic background combines fine arts, and graphic design, with a high focus on drawing.
I began my studies in graphic design from high school. From that point, I developed a sustained drawing practice through ongoing drawing sessions, which later became central to my fine art work. I continued my studies in Graphic Design at Tehran University of Art, before enrolling at UAL. Over the past seven years, I have developed strong experience in creative drawing and fine arts practice.
I have recently completed a drawing intensive course at the Royal Drawing School, which has further strengthened my observational practice and improved my teaching methods.
I have participated in several group exhibitions in London and Tehran, including Southwark Park Galleries, Copeland Gallery, Bargehouse Gallery, and A Gallery in Tehran. I have also taken part in charity exhibitions supporting children with cancer at Mahak Charity Organisation in Tehran between 2012 and 2018.
Alongside my personal practice, I volunteer as a portfolio reviewer and social media assistant for Zan Foundation, supporting Iranian women pursuing international education.

The sessions focus on drawing as a tool for observation and visual study, rather than simple copying. The emphasis is on process over result, encouraging experimentation, discovery, and genuine artistic expression. By working this way, students develop a personal visual language and explore creativity in a playful, open-ended way. While the sessions are focused on drawing, I can also support students in developing their independent practice across other areas of fine art. Drawing becomes a tool that expands their practice, shaping how they observe, think critically, and experiment creatively.
Many sessions take place in museums such as the British Museum and the V&A, where students draw directly from art and objects. Working with these collections offers variety and richness, helping students explore different approaches and connect with the spirit of art-making. This experience deepens creativity by linking practice with the philosophy of art, culture, and history, while remaining highly flexible to meet each student’s needs.
Whether students are preparing for university applications, residencies, or drawing for personal enjoyment, the sessions can be adapted. I also bring practical guidance from my experience volunteering as a portfolio reviewer, helping students to apply for university programs and residencies.
