About Elliot

I am a driven and passionate vocal coach based in Sheffield with five years of experience. This ranges from Musical Direction in Theatre companies to one to one coaching. I have experience through all ages with both genders so I can cater to any background.

I have professional performance experience singing at weddings, performing in musicals both in-Theatre and on tour.

I have taught approximately 10 people on a one to one basis, some just want to hit 'that note' or develop their confidence before an audition. A notable success is the progress a certain student made. From being cut in an audition process all the way to romantic leading man!

About the lesson

My teaching method is to understand the needs of my student and then compile a series of lessons, exercises and milestones which will result in achieving their goals. This involves comprehensive work on the basics of singing technique to provide a strong foundation to branch out into their specific passion. I pride myself on providing students with a broad and adaptable skill set that allows them to choose their direction.

Joseph

Elliot has been my closest friend for over 5 years now, and he is a very accommodating, kind and patient teacher. He takes time and also works hard in his own time to make sure he's got everything planned, in a way that caters to each individuals needs. He is always able to explain things in a way his students respond positively to, ultimately giving them a lot more confidence going into exams. He is an absolute pleasure to be around, and as well as encouraging a healthy work ethic, he'll find the time to have a laugh, a chat, and create a space in which you can talk to him about any issue.
