About Jacob
Currently a senior in High School looking to major in math or economics in college. Music wise- I have been playing various musical instruments for essentially my entire life but marching band really felt special so I have dedicated the last four years to practicing and improving at non-tonal marching and concert percussion. I have tons of experience giving lessons both to student in my high school but also to elementary schools picking up sticks and reading music for the first time.

My teaching approach is centered around two philosophies. A) Positive reinforcement and B) independence. I hope that eventually all my student will be able to grow rapidly without my help by self diagnosing and solving their own issues. It is my job to give them the knowledge to be able to do that.
