Hi! My name is Noah Plant and I'm a 20 year old drum teacher from Herefordshire, West Midlands. I teach drums on all skill levels from beginner, right through to advanced.
Creativity is, I believe, part of each individual; it just needs working out in different ways. I am qualified and capable of teaching all levels of drum kit (beginner-advanced) and beginner level guitar/ukelele.
My approach is very much directed by the student. I try to take the lessons in a direction that's inspiring but still challenging. I identify the problem areas in each individual and then tailor the content of the sessions with the goal of tackling them, taking the student down a logical path to progress. Please read my CV below for more information.
I aim for the student's improvement through a structured trajectory or instruction, adapting myself to his or her specific needs. I give space to dialogue, understanding and creativity in my method of teaching.
I base classes on current level of musical ability and musical interests. My teaching style is working with the enthusiasm of the student. I will give you as much as much or as little work as you want to take and in whatever direction you would like to take your learning. I lead with positivity.
I am able to teach lessons for beginners to advanced! My lessons cover styles, reading and technique. I will cover rudiments, and applying them to the kit. Reading, wether the student would like to learn to read or wants to start applying their reading to musical situations and styles. And I will cover various drumming techniques such as moeller technique, linear playing and open handed playing.
Hello I am Henry. I'm 18 and based in Guildford, I am studying at the Academy of Contemporary music doing a music degree in Drumming. I have played drums since I was about 10 years old and know many different styles/genres. ranging from Metal/Rock to Country, folk and reggae.
Teaching is different to every individual as every individual learns in a different way. Tailored teaching allows the student to gain the most out of each session, leading to faster progression. I prefer a more practical and interactive approach towards teaching drums as I have found this to be the most effective.
I approach every lesson by working out what my student wants to learn/get out of the lesson. I then set a target/aim and make sure that it is smashed by the end of the lesson.
My teaching method is very much practical. I take time to learn about the music that my students are already interested in, whilst building their awareness and knowledge of music in order to teach the fundamentals of music, in a fun and inspiring environment.
My teaching method really depends on the age, ability and goals of the student. It will be tailored towards you. Students who are aiming high will be pushed and challenged to help them achieve whereas youngsters and casual drummers will be taught the fundamentals of drumming and be given a solid foundation to be able to improve and develop on their own.

Drum Tutor 15 years experience teaching beginner/intermediate lessons in the Bournemouth and Poole area - come to you. 30 years old male tutor has taught across all ages mainly at beginner level to get started into drumming. Cover basic theory reading music grades etc.
I am a self taught musician currently in my first year of college and wish to pass on my knowledge to others. I believe in creativity, for example; I would give the student a simple drum beat and ask them to improvise to their liking. Musicians should not be taught to follow others, they should find themselves.
I am a female drum teacher who has recently graduated from University in Liverpool. As a recent graduate and working tutor of songwriting and production already, I feel like I can relate to each student properly. Tuition I am hardworking and have a very professional but fun attitude, which so far has got me extremely gratifying and inspiring work over the years. My lessons aim to inspire and have the pupil so enthusiastic to learn so much more which is incredibly easy to do since this is such a fun, artistic and inquisitive instrument.
I base my classes around the drum kit. Learn the basics and then begin to learn more complicated techniques alongside starting to play drums for the fun! I have experience teaching young children but would be keen to take on all ages, its never to late.
Fun and stress free learning of the kit, as it’s a fun instrument Lessons will consist of technique and learning of pieces from pre grade and looking to improve up the grades, with practice guidance given at the end to maximise improvement.
I am a sixth form student who has been drumming for years, starting to teach other students methods of drumming and how to enjoy playing the drums. I prefer to let the student do all the drumming while I give advice.
I tutor from beginner to professional level and from primary to third level institutions. My classes are methodical and provide adequate knowledge to produce a well rounded musician with sufficient musical understanding and appreciation. I believe every person has the ability to achieve a musical foundation and it is my function to lead you on that journey.
I tend to base my lessons on building all the aspects that make a great drummer into one, we learn technique, musicality, coordination, independence, different styles, rudiments, and of course your favourite songs!!
I generally teach anyone from beginner level up to grade 8 standard and of any age. I like to not just teach students to pass exams but to learn how to become a mature musician and be in the position where they are able to play well with other musicians and hopefully get gigs.
After gauging your level at the instrument, we will be looking at mastering the basic techniques such as rudiments and stick control, as well as developing grooves and fills. If you are studying grades, lessons will be split between studying pieces and technical exercises.
Are you new to drum lessons? Many of my students come to me as first time beginners (whether children, teens or adults), while some come as advanced professionals looking for specific help. Wherever you fit in as far as age or skill level, I can help you get closer to your musical goals. My one-to-one lessons are available in lengths of 50 minutes, and are held at the home of the student.
Each Lesson shall have a workbook to work through. This is dependant on the Student As music tutoring is very versatile, I try to make it as inclusive as possible, and to structure the lessons as to not make the student lose focus or become disinterested.
