About Charlie
I started learning to play drums at eleven and soon after started gigging with local Funk, Soul and Rhythm & Blues bands in Birmingham. As I progressed I started touring and recording with all kinds of bands, branching out into Rock, Metal, Pop, Jazz and Latin styles. These days I’m based in East Bristol, gigging and recording across the country and teaching drummers at every level. Whether you want to learn from scratch or sharpen a specific skill, I’d love to help you find your way around the kit. I’m always looking for new opportunities to help others find the styles and sounds that motivate them.
