About Karis
I am second year student at Durham University, studying English Literature.
I achieved three A*s at A Level and am currently on track to receive a first in my degree. I have over three years experience tutoring at GCSE level, and over five years experience working with KS1-KS3 to support students best in their learning.
In addition to this, I have completed relevant safeguarding courses, as well as specialised courses such as Attention Autism to ensure that I provide the best quality service possible!
Throughout my time tutoring, I have continued to be so proud of all of the students that I have worked with, seeing leaps in their grades and confidence that are a testament to their hard work!

I am a welcoming, friendly and experienced tutor; and am always keen to help in any way that I can.
In regards to my teaching methods, I am very flexible and will adapt these to best suit the individual needs of each student; offering a free ‘get to know you’ session before developing a personalised plan to best help them achieve their goals.
Lessons typically last for one hour; although this can be extended.
