About aahana
I am a Math tutor with over five years of teaching experience and an MSc in Applied Mathematics. My work blends core mathematical principles with advanced ideas from chaos theory and fractal geometry. I use these concepts to help students understand complex systems and the natural patterns that shape our world. Some lessons are simple, while others dive deeply into dynamic behavior. I teach iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors using visual examples and interactive simulations. These tools make abstract ideas easier to grasp and more exciting to explore. I enjoy working with curious learners who want to push beyond standard textbooks. Many of my students come from interdisciplinary science backgrounds and love making connections across fields. My approach encourages exploration, creativity, and clear mathematical thinking. I support each learner in building strong analytical skills and personal insight. My teaching approach in Mathematics is gentle, reflective, and focused on deep conceptual understanding. I guide students through subjects like calculus, pre-calculus, abstract algebra, number theory, and mathematical proofs. I also help them explore advanced theoretical concepts with clarity and confidence. Each lesson is structured to strengthen intuition rather than memorization. Some ideas take time, and I make space for that.
I work especially well with DIY learners and young researchers who enjoy discovering patterns on their own. They receive support in developing a unique way of understanding complex theorems. I help them think independently while still giving clear direction. Together, we build strong problem-solving habits.
This approach encourages students to explore, question, and grow. They learn how to think mathematically, not just solve a list of exercises. My goal is to help them excel and discover a new way of seeing mathematics.
