About Ruth
I am an enthusiastic guitar tutor with 11 years of experience, teaching students from high school, college, and older adults. I have taught approximately 150–200 students, helping each one discover the joy of playing guitar. My lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to the individual needs of my students.
I celebrate every achievement, big or small, and love seeing my students grow in confidence and skill. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music, develop their talent, and feel empowered to reach their musical dreams.

My teaching approach for Guitar is practical, motivational, and student-focused. I believe guitar learning should be enjoyable and useful. Lessons are based on real songs and daily playing situations so students can apply what they learn.
I use case studies to explain how guitarists handle common playing problems. Problem-solving techniques help students improve coordination, tone, and timing. Each challenge is solved patiently and clearly.
Motivation plays a major role in my classes. I encourage students to set small goals and stay positive. Integrity is important to me, and I give honest feedback to support improvement. I remain flexible by adjusting lessons to suit different learning speeds and musical interests. In addition to Guitar, I also teach music theory basics and rhythm training.
