About Trevor
I am a passionate and patient Guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, committed to helping students succeed in their musical journey. I have worked with more than 300 students from high school and college, guiding them from beginner level to confident playing.
One of my most meaningful milestones has been seeing my students achieve their goals and develop a strong love for music. My teaching approach focuses on simplicity, consistency, and encouragement. I make sure each lesson is easy to understand and enjoyable so students stay motivated.
I also support students in building confidence and expressing themselves through music. I believe that learning guitar is not just about technique, but also about creativity and emotion. My goal is to inspire every student to enjoy music, stay motivated, and continue growing with confidence.

My Guitar teaching approach focuses on building confidence and strong fundamentals through communication, accountability, and integrity. I start with simple concepts and gradually move towards advanced techniques, ensuring that students understand each lesson clearly before progressing.
I use easy explanations and practical demonstrations to make learning effective. Communication is very important in my teaching, and I encourage students to ask questions and share their thoughts freely. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning pace and comfort level.
I believe accountability is important for progress, so I provide regular practice exercises and set achievable goals. I monitor their improvement and guide them step by step. Integrity is a key part of my teaching, and I give honest feedback while motivating students positively. I also teach rhythm, scales, and song learning to support overall musical development.
