About Emma
I am currently an assistant headteacher in a primary school in Portsmouth. I would like to change my career and am interested in tutoring. I teach a class of 30 year 1 pupils at the moment and have leadership of nursery, reception and ks1.

My teaching method is to observe children first and determine their individual learning styles. With younger children, I identify their schemas and create individual learning plans to suit their needs. I like to build a respectful relationship with the children I work with and use their interests and skills to teach them new skills and concepts.
