About Giada

Hi there! I’m Giada, an experienced academic tutor with over six years of teaching and mentoring students of all ages. I am completing a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London.

I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Essex and a BSc in Electronics & Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, both awarded with top grades. I also studied at the University of Hong Kong, strengthening my expertise in AI, machine learning, and computer science.

Over the years, I’ve supported more than 40 students across GCSE, A Levels, Advanced Highers, National 5, and IB, helping them secure A* results in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths, as well as top marks in English language exams. I hold a Cambridge C2 Proficiency certificate and achieved 8.5 in IELTS, and my students have gone on to score 7.5+ in IELTS themselves.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. Before starting, I assess your goals, current level, and preferred learning style, so we can create a personalised study plan together.

For exam preparation (GCSE, A Level, IB, Advanced Highers, Nat 5), I focus on building a deep understanding of the subject while also teaching effective exam strategies to maximise marks.

For university admissions, I offer structured guidance on personal statements, UCAS applications, interview preparation, and practice with common admission tests.

For English language learners, I provide targeted support for IELTS and Cambridge exams, with speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice designed to help you reach the score you need.

Lessons typically include:
