About Max
I am passionate about both STEM and Humanities, and feel like Maths is the bridge between the two. Having struggled with Maths at GCSE and having gone from a Grade 4 to a high Grade 9 in the space of a few months, I understand the struggles Maths can give, and I want to break down the stigma that you can't learn to love Maths.

I offer personalised GCSE Maths and Further Maths tutoring designed to apply your knowledge to unique scenarios and really understand and visualise the topic at hand, instead of memorising formulas. My lessons (typically 60–90 minutes) are interactive, exam-focused, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I have previous experience as a Maths tutor, have led an English-support programme, and worked as an IELTS tutor, giving me a strong ability to explain complex ideas clearly and support students of all levels. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or looking to strengthen your foundations, my sessions provide structured guidance and practical strategies for success.
