About Ogechi

Hello! I’m Ms. Ogechi Okoye, a Google Certified Educator, TRCN-certified teacher, Digital Pedagogy Specialist, and Teen Coach.
I have over 10 years of teaching experience (6+ years online), supporting learners across different curricula including IGCSE/GCSE, WAEC, A-Level, and 11+ examinations. My students consistently achieve strong results, with a 95%+ success rate in external examinations and excellent feedback from parents and learners.

I specialise in:
Economics & Business Studies (Higher Level / Secondary & A-Level)
Mathematics and English (Grades 1–5)

My lessons are structured, interactive, and fully tailored to each learner’s needs. I use proven digital teaching strategies and tools to make learning clear, engaging, and results-driven.

# Why students improve quickly with me
- Every learner starts with a diagnostic assessment
-Lessons are customised based on weak areas
- Complex topics are simplified using real-life examples
- Intensive exam practice using past questions
- Continuous support with guided study materials
- Interactive tools (Kahoot, Quizizz, Nearpod, Google Forms) to reinforce understanding

I believe every child can succeed when taught in the right way. My role is to identify how each learner understands best and guide them to confidence and academic excellence.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy blends real-world application with engaging instructional delivery, enabling students to understand and apply concepts to everyday life. This approach makes learning relatable and significantly enhances comprehension and retention.
As a digital pedagogy enthusiast, I integrate modern educational technologies to create interactive, meaningful, and student-centred learning experiences. I leverage digital tools, data-driven instruction, and personalised learning strategies to improve both student outcomes and engagement.
Beyond the classroom, I design educational resources, collaborate with fellow educators through training and knowledge-sharing, and contribute actively to school improvement initiatives.

Instructional Approach
1. Diagnostic Assessment
Each learning journey begins with a diagnostic assessment, allowing me to identify learner gaps and develop a personalised learning plan tailored to individual needs.
2. Concept Building
Every lesson is structured by connecting new concepts to learners’ prior knowledge and their immediate environment to strengthen understanding.
3. Practice and Exam Preparation
Lessons include intensive practice sessions supported by past questions, with a strong focus on exam readiness and application skills.
4. Continuous Support
I provide ongoing learning support through structured study materials to encourage independent and continuous learning.
5. Interactive Evaluation Tools
I use engaging digital platforms such as Kahoot, Nearpod, Quizizz, and Google Forms to assess understanding and sustain learner engagement.
