About Zain
I’m offering tutoring because I enjoy helping people understand things in a clear and simple way, especially subjects like maths where confidence can make a big difference. Having studied Economics at UCL, I’ve used maths in practical contexts and understand how it applies beyond the classroom. I know how frustrating it can be when something doesn’t click, so I focus on explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. I’m looking to support students who want to improve steadily and feel more confident in their ability.

I keep lessons simple and focused on what the student actually struggles with. We usually go through a topic together, do a few examples, then practise questions while I explain anything that’s unclear. I try not to overcomplicate things and adjust based on how the student is doing. Lessons are usually about an hour. I’ve got a strong background in maths, and I mainly teach GCSE and A-level students who want to improve their understanding and confidence.
