About Mikaela
I began tutoring as a high schooler - I tutored elementary school students at my school, as well as helped peers with their essays. I graduated from one of the top universities in Canada, McGill University. My program required extensive writing abilities. I also worked as an editor in university at an online magazine. As a professional, my job is to understand the ins and outs of the English language, and how to write and edit complex documents so that people can understand them.

As a tutor, I will help students of various grade levels master the English language. Be it grammar rules, syntax, or learning to write an excellent essay - I'm here to assist! I will tailor each plan to the age and level of each student, as I have experience working with and helping students K-12. I'm personable and friendly, and my goal is to help students have fun with what they're learning, and feel a sense of pride in their accomplishments. I would also love to help high school students prepare as they write admission essays for university!
