About Julius
Julius George Mugadzaweta is my name and I was borne, bred, educated and trained in Zimbabwe. I studied maths, physics, chemistry and biology for my A levels and zoology botany and geology for my BSc general degree at the university of Zimbabwe. I then followed a post graduate degree in education and a masters in educational administration. As for my work experience I started working in Zimbabwe as a mere science and mathematics teacher in 1971 and by 1980 I was promoted to a school deputy head and eventually in 1983 to a position on education officer(science and mathematics education officer). I served as an inspector for science and mathematics for secondary schools for more than 10 years and in 1996 I shifted my job from secondary education to tertiary education. I became a Regional coordinator of Zimbabwe open university. I served in this capacity upto August 2004 when I came over here to the UK. I the UK I have been working as a Science and Mathematics teacher through and through. I have taught as a primary school teacher(KS1-2) and as a secondary school teacher(KS3-4). If I was to make a choice of what and where to teach I would choose to teach science(biology, physics and chemistry) and Mathematics at KS3-4.
