About Jerian
As an educator and former college basketball player, I bring both professional teaching expertise and real-world performance experience to every session. I understand how to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps while keeping students motivated and accountable.
My background in education has equipped me with strong instructional strategies, differentiated learning techniques, and the ability to adapt lessons to each student’s unique needs. Whether we’re working on academic subjects, developing basketball fundamentals, or learning beginner keyboard skills, I create structured, goal-oriented lessons that promote measurable growth.
As a former collegiate athlete, I also understand discipline, preparation, and the mindset required to improve. I emphasize consistency, confidence-building, and practical application so students not only understand the material but can perform with assurance.
Professionalism is extremely important to me. I communicate clearly, arrive prepared, respect your time, and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment. Parents and students can expect reliability, patience, and honest feedback focused on long-term development.
