About Jelani
I’m someone who understands how frustrating it can be to learn guitar without a tutor. It’s not easy. With my help, I hope to build a solid foundation of understanding for my students. I have played guitar since the age of 9, and have prior teachings in jazz and music theory. I have taught guitar for 2 years, and love seeing my students grow musically.

I am open to teaching individuals of all ages and musical backgrounds. Our lessons will start from the very beginning of music theory such as learning the musical alphabet, identifying intervals, along with learning chords and how they work.
Through time we will build a strong foundation in understanding chord harmony, improvisation with scales, song writing, memorization of the fretboard, and much more!
