About Youssef
I'm well practiced, with over a decades experience tutoring and a couple of years teaching. My lessons are specifically focussed on GCSE as this is the level I enjoy teaching, and am best at.
I've encountered just about every misconception in the book, and I can explain things a dozen different ways until one makes sense. Rest assured, any difficulties you're having with the subject is something I've successfully tackled before.
I'm good at exam preparation, and will make sure you understand how to get all the marks. I'll teach you how to find and use mark schemes to get your answers perfect. I also spent a lot of time working in the science museum, and have lots of fun resources for you to use to get interested, and loving science!

Hello there! My name is Youssef Hafid. I'm a qualified science teacher and have been tutoring for over a decade, and worked for the science museum in London. My lessons are mainly for GCSE science pupils, as well year 7 - 9 science.
I take an informal approach focused on assessment. I talk to the pupil about the topic, and look through any previous work. I then correct misconceptions and address knowledge gaps. We'll do exercises targeted at their weaknesses, then ensure they can get full marks on exam style questions.
My lessons are typically an hour long, with a short break in the middle. I can also do double sessions if preferred.
