About Alex
I've been producing music for the best part of 10 years, and have a master's degree in Musicology from KCL. I've released tracks on underground labels and have helped put out releases from other artists.
I also have a solid understanding of classical music theory, having been classically trained and achieving my Grade 8 on Trombone.
Whilst my favourite genres to produce are Techno and Ambient, I enjoy listening to music of all kinds and have experience producing lots of different styles of music.

My lessons are collaborative and I try to tailor all lessons to my student's specific wants and desired outcomes. I love helping students achieve their creative visions and look forward to helping more students learn how to produce electronic music!
If you're a beginner; I can help you understand how Ableton Live works, and can tailor our sessions to the style of music you'd like to learn to produce (e.g. House, Techno, Ambient, UK Bass, Garage etc.). I will introduce you to the fundamentals of music production and make sure you enjoy the process at every step of the way!
If you're more experienced; I can help you refine your workflows, understand more advanced production techniques, recommend plugins and help with your mixdowns. I can also help you to target labels to get your music out there!
