About Kavya
Hi! I'm an Electronics Engineering graduate with a passion for teaching and helping students build confidence in their learning. As someone who is still closely connected to the student experience, I understand the challenges many students face and the gaps that often exist in traditional teaching methods.
I believe learning should be about understanding concepts, not just memorizing answers. My goal is to make Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry simple, engaging, and easy to relate to. I focus on building strong fundamentals, encouraging curiosity, and helping students develop problem-solving skills that will benefit them both in exams and beyond. I believe that understanding the basics is the most important part of learning any subject. Before moving on to difficult topics, I make sure my students have a strong foundation and truly understand the concepts instead of just memorizing them. I also don't stick to only textbook methods. Many problems can be solved in different ways, and I like to show multiple approaches so students can find the one that makes the most sense to them and develop better problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson starts with a quick revision of previous topics, followed by learning a new concept through simple explanations and examples. We then solve problems together and gradually move on to more practice questions. I always encourage students to ask questions and make the lessons interactive rather than one-sided. It's more like having a conversation and learning from it.
What sets me apart is that I am still a student myself, so I understand the difficulties students face in today's education system. I know that many students struggle not because they are incapable, but because concepts are often not explained in a way that helps them truly understand. My goal is to fill that gap by making learning simpler, more engaging, and easier to relate to.
My lessons are for middle school and high school students who want help with Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, whether they need support with schoolwork, exam preparation, or simply want to strengthen their understanding of the subject.
