What makes me different is my deep understanding of diverse learning needs, particularly for students who may feel overlooked in larger classroom settings. I build trust and motivation first, then layer on content in a way that’s accessible and affirming. My special education background helps me tailor lessons that are not only standards-aligned but also emotionally and cognitively supportive. work with:
K–5 students, particularly those needing support in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning
Students with IEPs, 504 plans, ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning differences
General education students who want to build confidence or improve academic performance
Whether a student is catching up or looking to move ahead, I provide a safe, structured space to grow academically and independently.
