About Emily
My name is Emily and I have been teaching Elementary School for 12 years! I have taught 1st grade through 4th grade. I also have experience being an interventionist who supported 1st and 2nd graders who needed extra support in reading and math.
I am a mama of 2 young girls and have been married for 5 years. In my free time, I love to read, do yoga, and make crafts and Lego sets!

I graduated from Michigan State University in Elementary Education in 2012. I went back to school during my teaching career and received my Master's Degree in Literacy Studies from Grand Valley State University.
I have been teaching Elementary grades for 12 years. I have lots of experience teaching whole group lessons as well as small groups. In my free time, I have also tutored students who needed extra support in reading and math.
