About Lauren
My teaching approach to singing combines technical skill, musical expression, and confidence-building. I focus on posture alignment, breath control, and vocal warm-ups to ensure a strong and healthy foundation. Diction shaping and tone clarity are central, helping students communicate emotion clearly in every song. I also emphasize musical interpretation, guiding learners to connect deeply with the story and feeling behind the music. For ensemble and choral singing, I focus on choral blend, harmony coordination, and listening skills. I support students in performing confidently within groups, helping them balance their voice while complementing others. Whether working on duets, trios, or larger ensembles, I encourage teamwork and attentive listening. Interactive exercises like call-and-response, ear training, and harmony-building activities make lessons engaging and practical. I provide personalized guidance to help students excel in both solo and collaborative performances. My goal is to nurture musicality, expressiveness, and a lifelong love of singing.

With over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice, I am passionate about making singing a joyful and shared experience. My group classes are designed for families, whether it’s parent-child duets, sibling trios, or multi-generational sessions. We explore partner harmonies, call-and-response singing, and fun sing-along games that make learning interactive and exciting.
Each session focuses on teamwork, listening, and blending voices while building confidence and musicality. We enjoy a variety of genres, from magical Disney songs to uplifting Gospel, engaging Musical Theater pieces, and timeless Singalong Classics. Students not only develop their vocal skills but also strengthen family bonds through music.
My approach encourages expression, creativity, and collaboration, making every class both educational and entertaining. I guide students to harmonize, interpret songs with feeling, and celebrate each musical achievement. Learning together in a supportive environment makes the experience meaningful and memorable.
