About Maelle
I am an English teacher with 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing. My teaching focuses on helping learners build strong spoken English skills in a simple and practical way. I support students in improving fluency, pronunciation, and natural sentence formation. My goal is to help learners speak with clarity and confidence in real-life situations.
I place strong emphasis on workplace communication skills such as email writing, meetings, presentations, and professional conversations. Lessons are designed to be interactive and easy to follow. I use confidence-building exercises that help students reduce hesitation and speak more naturally. Role plays are an important part of my classes, where students practise real-world scenarios like interviews, office discussions, and everyday conversations.
I also focus on practical dialogue training so learners can respond quickly and effectively in different situations. Grammar is taught in context so students understand how to use it naturally in speech and writing. I encourage active participation and continuous practice in every session. My English teaching approach is structured, clear, and exam focused. I help students build strong foundations in grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary, and comprehension. I place special emphasis on writing skills such as sentence formation, paragraph planning, essay writing, and academic composition. Each lesson is planned with a clear goal so students always know what they are improving.
I support learners in developing accuracy in language use and confidence in expressing ideas. For students who need advanced academic support, I guide them in research-based writing, formal tone, referencing basics, and structured arguments. I also help improve reading skills through passage analysis, inference building, and critical understanding of texts. My method breaks complex topics into simple and manageable steps.
For learners who already have a background in English, I focus on refining fluency, polishing grammar accuracy, and improving clarity in both speaking and writing. I also work with students who aim for high performance in exams by providing practice tests, timed writing tasks, and targeted feedback. Strong attention is given to error correction and continuous improvement.
