About Andrew
I enjoy helping college students discover how enjoyable and rewarding piano can be. With 12 years of teaching experience, I have guided students with different learning styles and goals. My lessons are designed to make learning simple, engaging, and practical while helping students build confidence with every class.
My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and clear communication. I explain every concept in simple English and use practical demonstrations so students understand both the theory and the playing techniques. I encourage students to ask questions and practice regularly without feeling pressured.
To make lessons more effective, I use innovative methods such as digital learning resources, rhythm exercises, ear training, interactive keyboard practice, and personalized song learning. These activities keep students motivated while improving their technical and musical skills.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and expressive performance. I provide personalized feedback after every lesson and create practice plans that help students improve steadily. My goal is to help every student become a confident pianist who enjoys playing music for years to come.

My teaching approach combines communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and practical experience. I believe piano education should help students develop technical excellence while encouraging creativity and enjoyment. Every lesson is carefully planned to provide balanced musical growth.
Students begin by learning posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. As they improve, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation.
I teach through demonstrations, interactive discussions, listening exercises, and practical activities. Students receive regular progress reviews and personalized practice routines that support continuous improvement.
Students explore different musical genres while developing creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and expressive performance.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These additional subjects help students become complete musicians.
My mission is to inspire every student to enjoy learning, perform with confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
