- What kind of experience do you have?
My musical training was principally classical, but since then I have explored many different styles from rock, pop and folk music to jazz and improvisation. Have a look at my website to listen to some of the things I have done!

Hello! I am a freelance cellist and Alexander teacher based in north London. Whether you are just starting out or have been playing for years, incorporating the Alexander Technique as a basis to learning can provide real musical freedom.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I offer cello tuition for all levels and ages, from beginner to advanced. I particularly enjoy working with adult learners. I can also offer beginner lessons for violin and viola, and tailored Alexander lessons for musicians of any instrument.
The Alexander Technique work is not restricted to just musicians! It offers skills for everyday living that can be beneficial to all.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I studied music at Cardiff University and my postgraduate diploma in performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. In 2011 I moved to Argentina to complete the Alexander Technique teacher training at the Escuela de Técnica Alexander Buenos Aires. I graduated in 2014 and am certified by the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique London (STAT).
- How much do you charge?
My basic rate for lessons is £30 per hour. For younger children a half hour lesson would be £20.
- Where do you teach?
I teach at home in Crouch End just a short walk from the centre. I am easy to reach by bus from Finsbury Park, Muswell Hill, Wood Green or Highgate.
- When are you available?
I am available to teach weekdays and Saturday afternoons. Please get in touch to discuss possible times.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
For cello tuition I teach all ages and levels. I can also help with finding an instrument if you are just getting started! On the Violin and Viola I can offer beginner tuition.
Alexander Technique lessons are open to all, irrespective of prior experience.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can help instrumental students prepare for their ABRSM or equivalent exams.
