About Reign
I am a passionate drum tutor with over 9 years of experience teaching learners from school to professional levels. My teaching style is simple, supportive, and focused on helping students enjoy the process of learning music. My lessons cover essential drumming skills such as rhythm accuracy, grip, posture, stick control, timing, and coordination. I also teach students how to play songs, create drum fills, and build independence through guided practice routines.
I offer related subjects including basic music theory, rhythm analysis, ear training, and performance guidance. These lessons help students grow into confident and knowledgeable musicians. A unique skill I bring is my ability to turn complex techniques into easy, understandable steps. I encourage students to practice regularly, explore creativity, and build confidence. My aim is to help every learner grow into a strong and expressive drummer.

My drum teaching methodology is built on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility. Communication is important because it helps me understand every student’s needs. I take time to ask what they want to achieve—whether it is learning basic grooves, preparing for performances, or developing speed. With clear communication, lessons become focused and meaningful.
Creativity helps students connect with music on a deeper level. I include creative drum tasks such as improvising fills, building rhythms from scratch, and experimenting with dynamics. Students also practice with music tracks, which helps them understand timing and how drums interact with other instruments. These activities make lessons fun and allow students to create their own musical ideas.
Flexibility helps me adapt lessons to each student’s pace. If the student needs more time, I slow down and break the material into simple steps. If they learn quickly, I introduce advanced grooves, coordination drills, and stylistic techniques. I use different teaching styles depending on how the student learns best.
I also teach related subjects like rhythm theory and performance techniques. My goal is to guide students toward becoming confident drummers with strong musical understanding.
