About Megan
Hello!
I am semi young teacher with 5 years experience of teaching children at primary level. My approach to teaching is fun with very little pressure and outcomes! I work on strategies that best suits the child whether that is practical or melodic. I love teaching and my passion is always ongoing! Children grow with confidence are able to explain their learning when working one to one. I use phonics to help with spellings and reading comprehension. I adhere to the child’s school policy when it comes to handwriting.
I have experience tutoring 11+ for those students who want to go to grammar school working on techniques and skills to achieve entry. I also have experience in tutoring students to prepare for their year 6 SATS.
I am versatile; using a range of techniques to suit the child’s ability and needs. I prepare lessons and bring a range of mathematical resources that they child may need to help with their understanding.
